Cannot recommend this company enough!! The country house we were staying at in Tuscany helped book us a private wine tour with Out of the Box and we are so glad it was with them! Our tour was with the owner of the company, Stefano, who was an amazing guide for the day! He picked us up directly from our country house which was much more convenient than many of the large tours that must start in Florence. We had a private van for the entire day and Stefano was so knowledgeable about the Chianti region. He took us to two small wineries which both were amazing. The first was smaller and locally run with a great guide and delicious wine tasting. The second was a beautiful boutique vineyard with a sweeping view. The tour also included lunch paired with the tasting, which was delicious. Stefano joined us for lunch which was a lot of fun! On our way back he stopped through a small town for us to explore quickly and also knew the best spots to pull over for pictures! If you are looking for a more private and well curated tour from a local, I highly recommend! Stefano has put a lot of thought and care into his company which is very clear. It’s nice to be shown around by a local who knows and cares about the region in a smaller setting vs a large scale over crowded tour group. We hope to be back to visit soon & take advantage of the other experiences and tours they offer!

I truly cannot say enough about this company and our Guide Alessandro and also Stefano who was my initial contact to book our private tour. Stefano responded almost immediately and arranged the type of day we wanted to experience. We had the most fun relaxing amazing day in Cinque Terre! Alessandro was early and accommodating with our pickup in Florence and extremely warm welcoming and friendly. The van was comfortable and he was a very safe conscientious driver. He was knowledgeable and so proud to show us all of the breathtaking sites cities and quaint villages along the way and once we arrived. He was a true gentleman who spoke English beautifully and within minutes felt like family. Alessandro also arranged a delicious lunch at Belforte that was built into the cliffs of Vernazza with Spectacular views and the sea just below us. Our server was also wonderful and extremely entertaining. Because of Alessandro and the assistance organizing with Stefano, our trip was even more memorable. Grazie, Grazie!! We highly recommend!!

What more can I say?! Like all the reviews say, Stefano was the perfect host for us. Literally, we popped our tire just before we arrived in Panzano and he was so helpful to find a tire guy immediately and coordinated the whole exchanged for us in Italian. He literally turned a terrible day into a joyous experience as we were able to do our hike and wine tasting without any delay. He took us to the three very different vineyards (Felciano, Vallone de Cecione, Casenuevo) and it was very enjoyable. We had bits of charcuterie, bread, lunch which worked well with the wines. He was a very personably host and we had lots of great laughs. We had our whole family with us including 2 kids (9, 12) and they enjoyed it as well! Thank you Stefano for years of memories! Highly recommend and ask him which site to book on so he doesn’t lose a cut through third party apps. Very trustworthy.
