While many travellers pass quickly through Liguria's coastline, La Natta di Monte Tabor offers a slower base from which to explore the region. The beaches of Celle Ligure are within walking distance, while Genoa, Portofino and the Cinque Terre are all within easy reach for day trips. It allows travellers to explore some of the region's most famous destinations while spending more of their time in a smaller coastal community.
The property occupies a restored family home that has been renovated with conservation in mind. For more than 15 years, solar panels have helped provide electricity, while a solar thermal system has heated water throughout the property. Fruit and olives are grown in the garden without pesticides or chemical products. Alongside local staff, local suppliers and regional produce, many of the choices made here are guided by a simple goal: preserving the character of the place while supporting the local community.

Breakfast is one of the highlights of a stay at La Natta di Monte Tabor. Served overlooking the sea, it features homemade cakes baked by the owner alongside jams made from fruit grown in the garden. Bitter orange, fig, apricot and peach preserves sit alongside free range eggs and specialities sourced from local producers and suppliers.
Run by Miriam and Paolo, rather than turning the property into a large hotel, they chose to create a small and personal place to stay, where guests can experience the slower pace of life that has long defined this corner of Liguria.
Very nice place to stay! We were here 1 week and we had a beaitiful vacation. Myriam is a very kind person, she threats you as real 'ospiti', she cooks very good and she wants you to feel like home, even better. She gives you advise where to go. Almost all products are from the own garden, full of flavour and prepared with love. Been there for a weekend, in wintertime. Peaceful and delightful, the place is as good as in the website's pictures; the owner is a gentle and pleasant person. I'd recommend it strongly!
A wonderful place. Your cozy little house in the garden. You can see the sea from everywhere and it's very relaxing. I remember the wonderful homemade breakfasts with the endless sea in the background. The hostess is very kind and helpful. She loves animals. And if the dogs, who are there with their families at the time, find a way to communicate with each other, they can roam everywhere, since the entire property is fenced. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. There's a wonderful pool for the kids, while the adults can relax.
