Libélula Hotel grew from a desire to reimagine what a city stay in the Amazon region could be. Building on the foundations of its former accommodation, the hotel evolved into a space that balances comfort with responsibility, creating a place that feels harmonious with its surroundings and supportive of the community it calls home.
Value for money it was great! The staff is what really stood out, everyone was so nice and tried their best to help with all our needs and ask about our day. The hotel itself is nice and relaxing with good places to relax or work and it’s in a pretty convenient spot for walking to restaurants in common tour operations.
We stayed here while on a Bloody Bueno Peru tour and loved it. This hotel is conveniently located very close to the main plaza. It’s only a 5 minute walk. The rooms are very clean and the private bathrooms have rainfall showers with good hot water. The air conditioning is new and wonderfully cold in the sticky Amazon rainforest heat. We slept so well with the air conditioning.
Libelula has friendly staff and nice common area for lounging or working. The first time I stayed 3 nights and my second stay was 4 nights. My room was clean and had a good fan. It's only two blocks from the Plaza de Armas but on a very quiet street. The unusual policy of no entrance or exit between midnight and 4am makes the hotel itself a good place for people who want a quiet stay. It does not attract partiers.
