Food Sightseeing Estonia
See Estonia through its kitchens
Step into the real Estonia with guided walks through Tallinn’s neighbourhoods and the countryside, discovering the best of the country where food, history, culture and local life are inseparable.
As one of Estonia’s food tour pioneers, their mission remains simple: support local communities while showing travellers the country as it’s genuinely lived.
One bite at a time
From the streets of Tallinn to the quieter corners of Northern Estonia, tours combine food, drink, storytelling and local insight into one. You’ll taste locally produced dishes, meet independent shop owners and restaurateurs and hear the stories behind what’s on your plate.
Local-first, responsibly curated
Prioritising locally owned, family-run and minority-owned businesses, while avoiding large chains and unethically produced ingredients. Guests also receive recommendations for locally owned restaurants to continue exploring after the tour.
Off the tourist trail
Routes intentionally avoid the standard tourist path, exploring side streets and lesser-known areas while viewing highlights of the country from different angles. Local secrets are shared along the way. Each itinerary is shaped around travellers’ interests where possible, with vegetarian options always available and flexibility built in.
Story behind Food Sightseeing Estonia
Food Sightseeing Estonia was created from the belief that food is the most honest way to understand a place.
As guides and locals, the team recognised that Estonia’s culinary culture was evolving quickly, yet many visitors were missing it by sticking to conventional tourist routes.
By combining food, history and everyday life, they built a format that allows travellers to connect directly with local producers, chefs and communities.
