At its heart is Susanna, a biologist and environmental hiking guide who has spent years studying the flora and fauna of Mount Etna, developing both her professional expertise and her personal bond with the volcano that defines this region.

Her passion for Etna and eastern Sicily naturally extends into how she hosts, sharing local knowledge, thoughtful recommendations and insider guidance that help guests experience the area more meaningfully.

Together with her family, she has created a home that reflects both the heritage of the region and their commitment to living with care for the environment. What they offer is not simply accommodation, but an invitation into a way of life shaped by Etna, Sicilian traditions and genuine hospitality.

This was the most perfect room we had in years. Susanna was a very friendly yet discreet host. Breakfast was great and she gave us advice about our journey every morning. The room was very clean, with a garden next to it where we enjoyed having a drink or even dinner. I hope we will be back in Sicily just so we can stay there again. Thanks a lot Susanna !

A little gem under the mount Etna As soon as we arrived, we received a very warm welcome from Susanna which showed us the room and did all the best to make my little baby comfortable with the environment. Our room was bigger than expected, spotlessly clean and with direct access to a stunning garden where we asked if we could have our breakfast. Susanna made us feel at home with homemade desserts, a range of marmalades that she prepares by herself and a very fresh fruit juices which were different every day. She also prepared some desserts for my husband that has allergy to milk, it was such a relief to find something for breakfast also for him! This B&b in terms of service and relax has nothing to envy to any classic hotel, we really enjoyed the time there and will definitely come back again!

I spent almost 10 days at this property for work/study in the area and felt completely at home. The room, and the entire house in general, is beautiful, clean, welcoming, and very comfortable. The owner, Susanna, is incredibly kind, cheerful, and always available. She prepares delicious and delicious breakfast pastries that you won't forget! The location is convenient, just steps from the center of Viagrande and less than half an hour from Catania. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!
