A local surf camp made for slow mornings and uncrowded waves.
Seaside Tribe is a local surf stay tucked along the quiet stretch of Kedungu Beach. Built by a local family from Kedungu using recycled boat timber, driftwood and plenty of care, this is more than just a place to sleep.
Cabins are built using reclaimed boat timber by the owner's dad, designed to breathe through smart insulation and airflow that reduce the need for air conditioning. A bio-septic system filters wastewater before returning it safely to the earth, while native plants support the surrounding ecosystem.
Designed for beginner and intermediate surfers, this is the kind of place where days revolve around the tides rather than the clock. With a two-night minimum stay, guests are encouraged to slow down and stay awhile.
Mornings start with fresh coffee, homemade iced tea and ethical snacks around the kitchen table. Meals are low-waste and made with heart, inviting guests to linger, connect, and enjoy the kind of conversations that only happen when no one’s in a hurry.
Story behind Seaside Tribe
Seaside Tribe grew from a shared dream between Adi, a Kedungu local, Irene and their son Noi to create a surf stay where friends become family.
After years running a surf school along Bali’s west coast, they turned that passion into a boutique retreat on quiet Kedungu Beach.
This isn’t a corporate surf camp, it’s a home shaped by the people who live there, where every moment and every welcome feels like sitting down with an extended family.
