Soul Holiday
Southern Africa far from the usual
Soul Holiday runs off road adventures through Southern Africa, with no fixed routes and no mainstream stops.
You move through landscapes where the road disappears and the terrain takes over.
This is for those looking for a real off road journey out in the wild, spending time far from anything familiar.
Off road, no fixed plan
These journeys are not built around an itinerary. You go where conditions allow and where the landscape takes you.
There are no set stops or scheduled experiences. Some nights are spent in the middle of nowhere, far from any built infrastructure. Each day is shaped by the terrain, the weather and what you encounter along the way.
----
Where spending naturally stays local
Trips are run with local operators and suppliers across Namibia, Botswana and South Africa
Because of how remote these journeys are, what you spend stays local. Food is bought along the way from small shops and roadside stalls, not pre-arranged or catered.
In some places, you spend time in remote campgrounds or bush camps, with occasional stays in national parks.
----
Out of reach, by design
Once you are out there, there is no signal, no wifi and no constant connection. The journeys are designed for you to disconnect from everyday life, shaped by people who have spent years travelling these routes, with every location based on firsthand experience.
Story behind Soul Holiday
Soul Holiday was created by Thomas after a period of burnout, when everyday life no longer felt sustainable.
He began travelling through Southern Africa, spending time out in nature, on less travelled roads and with local communities in places not built for tourists.
Those experiences became the foundation of Soul Holiday, shaped by a desire to share that same sense of being off grid and living alongside local communities with others.
